Been a bit slack on the blogging lately would love to say it’s purely down to working hard on the label but in all truth it’s basically down to my internet connection deteriorating, it took me about 7 minutes just to load up the WordPress dashboard early, should really enquire about that at some point.

Anyway for our first real post in a while i’d like to introduce Ckrono straight out of Florence, Italy! I lived there back in 2003 for a year so it’s great to see a good scene building up in that area with some parties going down as well. Would love to provide you with all the links but as I was saying before it would probably take me about an hour and a half just to do that! Instead I’ll leave you with a free download of his Cumbia re-work of Bad Gal by Crookers and Douster.

Today we are celebrating our fourth release on Meanbucket Naifian’s – Blue Snow!

Berlin based New Yorker Naifian aka Mike Genius drops his debut release on Meanbucket a synth driven garage influenced rhythmical master piece. The sweeping sub bass and keyboards make this a perfect soundtrack for the post holiday for the long cold dark nights head.
On the remix tip Nightshifter’s premier Dj Donna Summer grabs the original and turns it on it’s head with thumping kicks and a bassline that will destroy dance floors leaving us with what could be the first certified banger of 2011.
Label bosses Dj Tuco and Quime turn in two separate remixes the first of which heavily reflects Tuco’s 1996 ghetto house influences. Finally with Quime who gives us what can be described as a Uk Funky remix with an old school rave twist.
